Montalvo Custom Tailors has been providing exceptional bespoke tailoring and custom clothing services to the Brentwood, Santa Monica, and West Los Angeles community since 1988. What began as a single tailoring shop has grown into one of the most trusted custom clothing studios in Southern California, built one fitting at a time on a simple idea: clothing should be made for the person wearing it, not the other way around.

In addition to serving our local community, we've built a following throughout California, with monthly trips to the San Francisco Bay Area and seasonal visits to New York and other parts of the country. Under the guidance of proprietor Nader Astanboos, his father Esmail Astanboos, and brother Naseer, we've built a reputation for meticulous attention to detail, honest craftsmanship, and personalized service that our clients don't find anywhere else.

From custom suits and shirts to precision alterations, wedding attire, women's tailoring, and even private-label work for designers, our services cover every stage of a garment's life, from first fitting to final adjustment.

We source premium fabrics from trusted mills and work through multiple fittings on every commission, adjusting pattern, drape, and detail until the finished piece fits the way off-the-rack clothing never will. It's a slower process than buying a suit off a hanger, and that's exactly the point.
We know that not everyone has time to come to us, so our House Calls service brings the fitting room to you, whether that's your home or your office, anywhere in the greater Los Angeles area. It's the same craftsmanship and attention to detail, just on your schedule.
